Lucretia Tillman Turner
(July 24, 1927 - June 15, 2012)

Lucretia Tillman Turner was born to the union of Ebben and Lougenia Tillman on July 24, 1927 in Wateboro, N.C. Her brothers and sister Ebben Tillman, Jr., Burnis Tillman and Florence Tillman (Haygood) preceded her in death.

She married Early Holland Jr. in 1947 and to this union was born Johnny Hariston. In the early 1950'S Lucretia moved to Chicago and went to cosmetology school and became a licensed beautician.

She met and married Charles Turner of Chicago, who preceded her in death after 20 plus years of marriage. Lucretia gave her life to Christ at an early age and became an ordained minister in the early 1980'S.

She leaves to mourn in her passing: one son, Johnny Hariston; one nice, Glenelle Haygood (Stokes); three grandchildren: Lashawda Mosley, Curtis Hariston and Kesua Crider; two nephews who preceded her in death Sharvin and Charles Haygood. She leaves 17 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
