Carl Earsery was born March 31, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Horace Earsery and Louise Johnson. Carl was the third child of eight siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, eldest brother Earl Earsery, father-in-law David Radford, Brothers-in-law Roger Radford and Henry Alexander.

Carl attended Burke Elementary School and Westcott Vocational High School.

Carl was married to the love of his life, Pearl Radford on April 9, 1966. Carl and Pearl were blessed with 46 years of marriage and four children. She was devoted and committed to Carl and was his caretaker during his on-going illness.

He was employed by the Chicago Housing Authority for many years. Carl enjoyed laughing, telling jokes and eating good food. He enjoyed making us smile; and even during illness and pain he continued to tell jokes.

Carl was called home at approximately 5: 15 p.m. on May 27, 2012.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife - Pearl; his mother-in-law Ethel Radford; eight children - Carlita, Debbie Earsery, Paris Earsery, Carl, Jr., Co Co (Latisha), James (Shannon), June and Daniel; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; four brothers - Ralph, Lee, Ronnie and Andre (Gaye); two sisters - Kimberly and Jacqueline; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law Carolyn, David (Princella), Arbelia (Jeff), Eleanor (Robert), Hazel (Berry), two aunts; - Sharon and Debbie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Carl was well loved and will be missed by all.
