On December 28, 1973 Latasha Shaw was welcomed into the world to proud parents Doris Shaw and Allen Armstrong. Latasha was a beautiful girl with a kindred spirit, strong will, and infectious smile. Although it was discovered Latasha had the sickle cell virus, she accepted Christ at an early age and witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit as she lived with this disease. She attended Sherwood Elementary and John Hope Middle School. With strong desire to beat sickle cell Latasha obtained her high school diploma and went on to manage retail stores for Fashion Bug Clothing Company. After working in retail, Latasha went to work for Positive Connections Bus Company. It is here where she found joy and pleasure working amongst great colleagues who would become her second family.

On May 16, 2012 at the age of 38 years old Latasha was called home to rest. Latasha will be happily reunited with brother Anthony Shaw, Uncles Nathaniel Shaw, Anthony Flowers, and Grandmother Gertrude Flowers who preceded her in death.

Latasha leaves behind 3 sons whom she loved dearly, Michael Peebles, Anthony Peebles, and Deandre Peebles; One grandson Michael McCune. She is also survived by her mother Doris Shaw-Williams and Step father Jimmie Williams; Father Allen Armstrong; Two sisters Latrice and Latanya (Maurice Gayle's). Brothers Eric, Antione, Christopher, Timothy, Aaron, and close friend Rosemary Stewart. Latasha is also survived by close aunts, Naomi Flowers, Johnnie Mae Jackson and Gertie Williams, and a host of more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She will be truly missed.
