Ozell Conaway was born on May 3, 1939 in Shannon, Mississippi, the youngest child of Lester D. and Ollie Conaway.

On Sunday, May 27, 2012, Ozell was called home to be in the presence of the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester D. Conaway; one sister, Martha garrett; one brother, Earl McAlister, all of Shannon, Mississippi; and one son, Micheal A. Conaway of Chicago, Illinois.

Ozell leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Ruth Conaway; one daughter, Cheryl(Ted); one son, Gregeory(Shrone); his mother, Ollie Dillard; twelve grandchildren, Antwoine, Tyrane,Kenyatta, Tsenrae, Frank, Micheal Jr., TreVon, Candance, Christina, Micheal, Gabriel, Jeffery,Gerrell; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of family nand friends
