Adrian N. Bishop was born in Chicago on December 27, 1955 to parents, Napoleon and Zenobia Bishop. Adrian was the youngest of four siblings, Willy Nell, Sharon and Erich. He was preceded in death by his father and sister Willy Nell.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Blackwell A.M.E. Memorial Church.

Adrian graduated from Chicago Vocational High School and went on to continue his education in mechanics at the junior college level. He enjoyed fixing and repairing everything. There was no job that we wouldn't tackle. Adrian worked as a Cook County Deputy Sheriff until illness forced him to retire.

Adrian married Marian Coleman on June 20, 1977. From this union was born two daughters, Quiana and Nadrien. Education was stressed in their home and they were taught to reach for the stars... He was devoted to his family. He loved to cook and barbecue and there was always an open door policy at their home.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Marian Bishop; daughters, Quiana Finn (Terry Finn, new son-in-law) and Nadrien Bishop; a granddaughter, Jalayla Finn; his mother, Zenobia Bishop; sister, Sharon Jones; sister-in-law, Patricia Patrick; a brother, Erich Bishop; two brothers-in-law, Jessie Patrick and Michael Coleman; nieces, Dr. Jennifer Perez, Brittany Bishop, Sabrina McFarland, Jalisa Coleman and Jessica Patrick; nephews, Christopher Harris, Xavier Bishop, Wesley Patrick and Marcus Jones; special friend, Cornelius Ellis; and a host of great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, friends and neighbors.

He was loved and cherished by all. He will be missed.
